Simplified Returns To Death Valley This Friday Night
posted 09/07/2010 Don't miss Simplified this Friday night 9/10 at Club 356 in Clemson. Club 356 is the a favorite among Clemson Students for live music. The band has developed an affinity for this venue which has resulted in some high energy shows. Friday night's show starts at 11 p.m.
Clee & Sheridan will also be performing this week at The Village Bistro on 9/8 and Icehouse on 9/9.
Simplified Returns To The Studio Before their Annual Labor Day Run
posted 08/30/2010 Tomorrow the band returns to Reflection Sound Studios to work on their forthcoming album. The majority of this week will be spent in the studio before the boys hit the road for their Annual Labor Day Run.
Saturday night they will be at The Windjammer in Isle of Palms before they return to Wilmington to perform at The Dirty Martini. The band will celebrate Labor Day at The Rusty Rudder in Cornelius.

We're equally excited to be mixing it at Reflections Studio on Central Ave. Reflections is the same studio that R.E.M., Hootie & The Blowfish, Southern Culture on The Skids among several others have recorded albums.
Don't forget Clee & Sheridan are playing with Will Hoge this Saturday evening at The Windjammer in Isle of Palms, SC. The duo will also be performing at The Village Bistro on 8/11 and The Rusty Rudder on 8/12.

Clee & Sheridan will be at Ri Ra Irish Pub in uptown Charlotte this Friday evening. The show starts at 10 p.m. Saturday the acoustic duo will travel to Asheville to peform at McCormick Field for the Beer & Baseball Festival. Their set begins at 6 p.m.

Stay Cool at Acquapalooza on 7/31
posted 07/26/2010 Simplified is performing at Acquapalooza on Lake Norman in Terrell this Saturday. The band will play two full sets begning at 1 p.m. this Saturday. The event itself kicks off at 11 a.m.
AquaPalooza is a multi-location boating festival, sponsored by Sea Ray boats. It is promoted as "The World's Largest Boat Party" and claims to attract over 12,000 boats to 100 locations mostly around the United States, but also in several international locations.
32nd Annual Bele Chere Festival
posted 07/19/2010 Simplified will be performing at the 32nd Annual Bele Chere Festival in historic downtown Asheville this Saturday 7/24. Our set begins at 4 p.m. on the Battery Park Stage.
Bele Chere Festival will take place July 23-25. Bele Chere is a free street festival on the streets of Downtown Asheville, North Carolina. The festival will also feature Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Randall Bramblett Band, Yo Mamma's Big Fat Booty Band, Toubab Crewe, The Dirty Guv'nahs among several others.

We do have a few festival dates including a performance on Saturday July 3 at The Whitewater Center with other acts like Acoustic Syndicate. Are You Ready For The Summer
posted 05/27/2010 Summer is here and we are ringin it in Simplified style as we hit the road and the beach! Thursday night we will be at Wild Wing Cafe in Hilton Head before we return to The Windjammer in Isle of Palms on Friday. Saturday we return to the Charlotte area to peform at The Queen's Landing Concert Series. Sunday we will be performing an afternoon set at The Mountain Sports Festival in Asheville. On Memorial Day we return to The Rusty Rudder for an afternoon performance. Happy Memorial Day everyone!
Visulite Show Will Celebrate The Life of Tim Friedland
posted 05/11/2010 This past Sunday the Simplified community lost a dear friend in Tim Friedland. Tim has been a big supporter of music especially the music of Simplified. He has been a devoted friend and fan since the beginning. Tim's passion and enthusiasm for music was extremely compelling and inspiring. Although Tim has moved on beyond this life he will never be forgotten. We would like to dedicate our show at The Visulite this Friday as a token of our appreciation to Tim for his love of music and most importantly his friendship. Thank you buddy. We will miss you.
Visulite Will Be Our Last Big Show in Charlotte This Summer

As everyone knows this is always a great time as we love to perform at the legendary Visulite Theatre. Friday night will be no exception as we have a lot of new tricks up our sleeves for everyone! You don't want to miss this show since this will be our last big performance in Charlotte before we head back into the studio to work on our forthcoming release. Between studio time we will be hitting the festival circuit this summer.

posted 04/22/2010 Simplified is excited to perform at The Go Green w/ Keep Iredell Clean Festival on May 15. The festival will be hosted by The Van Hoys Family Campgroud in Union Grove, NC. This will be an exciting day full of fun, food, and of course great music! Tickets can be purchased pre-sale for $10.00 or at the door for $15.00. Children 10 and under get in free. Onsite camping is available.
2010 Miss Statesville Marissa Ireland has teamed w/ Keep Iredell Clean to organize a music festival to raise money for a more enviromentally friendly North Carolina. New Spring/Summer Dates
posted 04/19/2010 After an extended jaunt on the road, we are glad to be closer to the Queen City! Witht that said, we are excited to announce we are returning to The Visulite Theatre on Friday May 14 for one night. We will also be spreading the love to Asheville as we will be playing at the 10th annual Mountain Sports Fest on 5/30 and then returning on 7/24 for the 32nd annual Bele Chere Festival. Spring Tour Kicks Off This Thursday
posted 03/09/2010 On Thursday we kick off our Spring Tour in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The tour includes several stops in the Sunshine State with a week long run in Key West before breaking some new ground in Tampa, Orlando, and Florida State University. We also return to The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Biloxi for two nights.
We then head back up through the Southeast with stops in Columbia, Savannah, Clemson, Greensboro, and North Carolina State University.
In other news Smile was recently selected for Pandora Internet Radio. We will keep you posted with more details on the official date.

A Party With A Purpose
posted 11/17/2009 Simplified will perform at a special Fundraiser for the Martinsen and Roberts families at Dixie's Tavern on December 3.
Both families have children that were diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, the Martinsen family recently lost this bout as young Victoria passed away earlier this month.
In addition to the emotional challenges each family is experiencing there is a large financial burden to cover medical expenses.
Although, there is no cover charge at the door, the Simplfied organization is requesting that everyone come with a generous heart and make a donation.
Several local merchants have donated gift certificats to raffle off for the event. Come join us for a special evening as Simplified puts on a peformance with a purpose.

Elephant Sky CD's Mislabeled
posted 11/11/2009 We have just been informed that a recent batch of Elephant Sky discs actually have Smile discs in the jewel box. They are labeled Elephant Sky but the music on them is from Smile. Simplified partners with HOPE (Homeless Outreach and Poverty Eradication) Committee of The Campus Y at UNC-CHAPEL HILL For Cat's Cradle Performance
posted 10/30/2009 We are happy to announce that we will be co-sponsoring a food bank with HOPE for our November 12 Cat's Cradle show. A two dollar ticket deduction will be given to those bringing food donations.
Dedicated to serving those in poverty in the local community, Homeless Outreach Poverty Eradication (HOPE)members participate in direct service projects and coordinate awareness raising events. Members focus on implementing new and innovative ways to serve the homeless community and better aid those in need, including projects such as documentaries, literary magazines, a community garden, the Box Out, and the Community Fund.
Campus Y student volunteers will be on hand to help collect and distribute donated food items.
Simplified Nominated for Best Rock Band in Charlotte
